OST Reached Maximum Size

 

Email Clients such as Microsoft Outlook are limited to a 2 Gigabyte maximum size, If OST Files and PST Files are created using Microsoft Outlook 97, 98, 2000 & 2002 (XP) as there are formatted in American National Standards Institute (ANSI). From Microsoft Outlook 2003, PST files are using the UNICODE format which has a limit that is more than 20 GB.

Microsoft Outlook automaticaly displays the Mailbox Cleanup Wizard when OST or PST file reached its maximum size (when using Microsoft Outlook). The mailbox cleanup cleans the oldest emails to freeup space.
